The Story

Swing Dance
Journey

2017

The Beginning

Discovered swing dance in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Dasha started dancing four to five times a week from day one and competing almost immediately.

2019

Teaching & Organizing

Began teaching Lindy Hop. Simultaneously launched her first event work: organizing local swing socials across Saint Petersburg.

2021

Fast Pete & Shag

Started teaching Collegiate Shag. Co-organized Fast Pete — a dedicated balboa & shag event in Saint Petersburg — bringing niche styles to a wider audience.

2022

Moving to Asia & Balboa

Started teaching Balboa. Relocated to Asia, beginning an era of intensive teaching and organizing across the continent. Bangkok became home base.

2023

Diga Diga Doo

Co-organized Diga Diga Doo, a swing dance event in Bangkok that brought the local and international community together.

2024

Breezy Balboa

Launched Breezy Balboa from scratch — a brand new balboa camp in Thailand, built entirely from the ground up.

2025

Bangkok Tap Fest

Launched Bangkok Tap Fest, bringing tap dance and swing culture together in a first-of-its-kind event in Bangkok.

2026

Breezy Swing

Together with Andreas Olsson and Cupcake launched Breezy Swing — a new multi-style swing event in Hua Hin, Thailand, covering Lindy Hop, Solo Jazz, Balboa, Shag and more.

Now

Bangkok & Beyond

Based in Bangkok, growing the local swing scene. Collaborated with Dax Hock and Juan Villafane during their Bangkok residencies. Taught across fourteen cities in Asia.
